In order to remain academically eligible to compete in athletics, students must be passing FIVE of their seven classes. See full IHSAA Eligibility Rules here.  

By IHSAA rule, an “I” (incomplete) is considered a failing grade when determining eligibility. Grade checks are made after 9 weeks and at the semester. Any student-athlete who has not passed FIVE (5) credits on the following date(s) at 4:00 p.m., will be declared ineligible for the remainder of the next grading period. 

Quarter 1 and Semester 1 Eligibility Dates:  October 23 and December 20

Hello Homestead High School! 

Our school has teamed up with Riley Children’s Foundation to help bring attention to National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! That means our annual Red for Riley football game is officially on the calendar! It will be held on Friday, September 6th, where our football team will host Wayne High School in a conference football game. At the game, you will have numerous opportunities to donate cash donations to the Riley Foundation! We will hold a miracle minute after the 1st quarter, where cheerleaders and student section leaders will go through the stands taking any spare cash or change that you are willing to donate. There will also be various raffles that you can purchase tickets to enter, prizes include gift cards and the chance of being able to pie a football captain or a Homestead Administrator. At the end we will have a grand reveal of how much money is raised! All proceeds will go to Riley Hospital for Children! Let’s make miracles happen, Spartans!
