Science

Hi, I'm Mrs. Tatro and I'm the science teacher here on Acadia. I started teaching in Dayton in 2006 and have taught 7th grade science here at SMS since 2008. I love hiking (especially in Acadia National Park!), camping, reading, listening to true crime podcasts, and spending time with my family; my husband, daughter Eliza, son Jordan, and two stepdaughters Anna and Sarah.

In science class, we have fun learning about various topics in ecology, biology, and genetics. We hatch chickens in my class, have guest speakers come in, work with the Ecology School, get outside when we can, learn about aquaponics, and much more.
