STEP 2  TESTING

All students who are tested in K-4th grade will be assessed for giftedness using the following instruments:

• Cognative Abilities Test (CogAT)

  • Verbal

  • Quantitative

  • Nonverbal

• Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT)

• PCA Teacher Survey and Parent Survey

A student will need to perform in the “superior” or “very superior” range on the majority of these assessments to be considered for the gifted program.
