Pax Stand Project

We are learning a lot about tools and woodworking. Each student is creating a wooden fox stand based on the character Pax from our read aloud book by Sara Pennypacker. 

We have learned about and used these tools: 

• coping saws

• c clamps

• quick clamps

• sandpaper

• files

• planers

• wood glue

• vices

• drill press

• screwdrivers & screws

• finishing products such as teak oil and stains

• hand drills & drill bits
