Exposing Gender Bias in The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner

Research Introduction:

The research that I will be conducting will be reading each trilogy of The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner, and exposing the gender bias in each novel. In that, I will be using a content analysis method where I compare 16 terms to each description, plot line, and actions of the characters and collecting the data into charts. Then, I will be comparing the gender bias data I collect between the novels because the novels have different gendered authors. I will compare the data I found, but I am also hoping to do a kind of statistical analysis to compare this data. That is the gap in the previous research about my topic, so that is my goal for the research.
