POTW #1: Pets
BFFs
This picture is of my two dog's that I caught sitting against each other on the chair. I decided to take the picture because I thought that it would be a perfect "Photo of The Week" picture. My objective when taking the photo was to get the picture taken before they had the chance to move. One thing that I learned when taking this photo was that an opportunity for a picture is all around you.
POTW #2: Peaceful
Nap Time
This photo is of my sister when she fell asleep on the couch. After she had fallen asleep my brothers dog decided that he wanted to lay on her and cuddle. When I looked over and saw them laying down I thought that they looked very peaceful while sleeping. one thing that I learned from taking this photo was that something that seems so normal can be taken as a peaceful moment.
POTW #3: Humanity
Baseball
This photo was taken at a Rockies game at around 8 pm towards the end of the game. When I took this the lights in the stadium were flashing. The screen was playing a montage of the Rockies players. All of the people in the stadium were standing up. One thing that I learned while taking this photo was that even people will come together and stand to watch the montage even if they don't support the team.
POTW #4: Creepy
Midnight
This photo was taken in the middle of the night. It was taken from my bedroom window looking out to my backyard and the road behind my house. It was snowing and it made it look very ominous. A thing that I learned was that I should always look around me because you never know when the opportunity to take a photo will come.
POTW #5: Passions
Hiking
This photo was taken while I was hiking at Red Rocks. It was taken at around midday from about midway on the hike. I had decided to take this picture because I thought that it looked beautiful and it was while I was doing something that I was passionate about. One thing that I learned about this photo was that you can take a photo about something that you are passionate about and it can be beautiful.
POTW #6: Imagination
The Rain Cloud
This photo was taken when I was driving to the store with my mom. I was looking around and when I looked to my right I saw that there was a giant dark cloud in the sky. And when I saw that coming from the cloud only had a little section of it with rain falling. I thought that if looked like something from a sci-fi movie. A thing that I learned when I was taking this picture is that even something as simple as a rain cloud could look like it wasn't eveen real.
POTW #7: Paradise
Mountain View
When I took this photo me and my family were driving from skiing/snowboarding. I was sitting in the back seat and whenever I am in the mountains I always am looking around me to see if I can get a picture of something. One of my favorite things to do is to just go into the mountains and spend time with my family, explore or to just look at the views and just take some pictures. A thing that I learned when/from taking this photo is that to make sure that if you are somewhere that you love to be then you can take a picture there and you can have a beautiful photo.
