Meet the Researcher!

Vasudha Goel is a 17 year old student at Rock Canyon. As a senior who had previously taken AP Seminar at her school, she decided to move forward with the AP Capstone curriculum at Rock Canyon, taking AP Research during the 2024-2025 school year. She will furthermore be graduating with this year, currently in the year of 2025 and working to attend college as the year of 2029 in the near future. 

She loves reading and watching shows and movies, being some of her biggest hobbies, which she utilized in her research. She spends more time reading than doing things for school, but for the sake of her teachers, that is a exaggeration. Other than this, she hopes to go to college to study business and law in the hopes of working in civil litigation. She is very excited to be able to report her research and can't wait to see what conclusions can be found regarding gothic to expand the general understanding of the genre and its changes over time.
