Introduction

My research project looks into – as the title says– the economic effect of eliminating child labor in Latin American countries after being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The goal of this topic is to find the correlation between high or low child labor and its effect on economic health. I will be looking at how past trends have repeated themselves or not while also looking at groups or individuals who try to eradicate child labor and what progress they have made. Moreover, I will be looking at economic trends during the pandemic and now that it is ending and the correlation with child labor.
