A Smooth Ride so Far!
After I defined my methodology last semester, I began researching GDP trends in Latin America in the past 20 years. As of now, I am still unsure if I will use all of it since much of the information is extensive and it might be too long for my final paper. But as of now, I have decided to research for 20 years and I will get rid of data later if I need to.

The main part of the research that will answer my research question is GDP changes over the years. The next most important thing is child labor rates and how those have changed over the years. As of now, my main focus has only been the economic part of my research so I do not have data on child labor rates. I have looked at how much GDP has changed as well as the reasons that have caused those changes and have found these helpful graphs that provide visual aids for when I connect and analyze my data in depth.

So far, I have gathered data that I will connect to showcase the gap in the research. I have gathered data on GDP and GNI per capita.
Moreover, I have collected data on the causes and effects this has had on the economy of Latin American countries.
The next step, and biggest step, in my process is creating my own graphs and data tables where I bring all of that information I gathered together. I have been working backwards and began studying 2019, 2018 and so on. So far I only have a couple of my own unfinished data tables but will continue to work on others in the following months. As of now, I mostly only have raw data and analyzing it will play a bigger role in my research.
Thank you for taking the time to look into my research and I will keep you updated!
