Learners will be introduced to digital portfolios as a way to showcase and share learning. They will begin to formulate an understanding of reflection and different ways to communicate. Teachers will scaffold from teacher driven into supporting more learner independence with experience.

Learners will continue to grow in critical thinking skills and digital literacy skills to utlilze showcasing growth and learning in their All About Me portfolio. With teacher guidance, they will select artifacts that help show growth and learning. They will also set goals, reflect, and continue to grow.

Learners, starting in grade 7, shift into the Education Planner format. They begin to develop more independence choosing items to best demonstrate their learning and to showcase growth. They can take quizzes to explore interests and motivations, and begin to explore career paths more. Learners can create multiple portfolios for different purposes. They will also set goals, reflect, and continue to grow.

Learners in High School can continue and grow and begin to shift to support High School course planning, as myBluePrint now connects with historical grades from Power School starting in grade 10. Learners can continue to build upon figuring out who they are as learners, explore potential career paths, and develop more in-depth learner driven portfolios for multiple purposes (in-school assessment, reflections, showcase of achievement, and as a portfolio for job applications. They will also set goals, reflect, and continue to grow.
