We invite you to browse our repository of resources, guides and links that provide ideas for leaders, teachers and learners to help support learner reflection, CoSL, three-way conferences, and learning design, with the use of Digital Portfolios in Rocky View Schools. They have been organized by similar grade levels.
If you would like one-on-one coaching, team planning, school-wide implementation, or leadership professional learning on using Digital Portolfios, please contact the Ed Tech Team. The latest professional learning opportunities facilitated by RVS are featured in the RVS Professional Learning Registry. This website offers a variety of resources for utilizing digital portoflios.
Thinking Routines
Consider using thinking routines embedded within your practice. You can create a reflection station in the classroom, or school, where learners are provided with thinking routine prompt visuals posted. Begin with one, and scaffold into more. Then learners can have choice on which prompts they want to reflect with, and independently when they are ready.
Make a copy & remix as needed.
Three-Way Conferences
Developing and setting goals with learners can also help support three-way conferences with families. What goals are you hoping to achieve? What actionable steps will help you get there? How might we help you achieve these goals?
What are you proud of? How have you grown?
