Our "Mystery Reader" was Mrs. Brown. She is a mom in our school, as well as our wonderful grade 5/6 teacher. She read us her children's favorite book.
We began our Adventure with the question: "Who slides faster down the snow, a penquin or a kid?" We then went on a hunt for the biggest snow hill ever....Penquin Palace! We soon discovered that kids can slide down hills very fast, but that penquins are faster because their stomaches are like sleds.
