Reflections:

Leah Week 1:

1. What elements of the PYP programme do you feel the most confident with?

I feel confident with the PYP attributes because we have been doing them forever. I also feel very confident with the Units Of Inquiry.

2. What elements of the PYP programme do you feel you need to better understand?

I am not really confident in the key concepts because we have never talked about them in class. I also am not really confident in the approaches of learning because we haven’t really talked about it.

3. What excites you most about participating in our PYP exhibition?

I'm sorta excited for the presenting part. I am not really excited for any part in exhibition.

4. What are you the most nervous about?

I am nervous about not finishing my research or my presentation on time and missing the due date and failing everything!

5. What do I still have questions about?

Leah Week 2:

1. What attribute did you use most this week? How?

I think I used reflective the most because I kept saying what I was going to do and planning.

2. What is one attribute you want to work on next week? Why?

Next week I want to work on being balanced because this week I kept panicking and working for as long as I could. I spent my whole day stressing about it and once I cried!

3. How did you positively contribute to your group or another group in our class?

When Britni was gone I was still working hard and trying to get stuff done without her there.

4. What was the most challenging thing you were confronted with this week? Did you overcome it? How? If not, why not?

The most challenging thing this week was having to do it without Britni right there. I did overcome it because once I zoomed with her and she did a lot at home.

Leah week 3:

1. What was your favourite part of this week? Why?

My favourite part of the week was reading the email from the interviewee and seeing what her courses were like and the amazing answers she gave us.

2. What was the hardest part of this week? Why?

The hardest part of this week was the research knowing that this week would be our last of the research so we needed to know everything and make it perfect.

3. In 3-5 sentences, summarize what you did this week.

This week we watched a video on how to interview and then said skills we have to have while interviewing. Next we made questions to ask our interviewee. After that we started doing our final research and now the reflection.

1. What attribute did you use most this week? How?

Thinker because this week had to do a lot with your brain and researching.

2. What is one attribute you want to work on next week? Why?

Commutator and trying to communicate with my partner and work together more often.

3. How did you positively contribute to your group or another group in our class?

4. What was the most challenging thing you were confronted with this week? Did you overcome it? How? If not, why not?

The most challenging thing was communicating with my partner because i could not go to school for the first 3 days of the week and that really left us behind on all of our research so thursday night i had to work really hard and complete all of the research.

1. What was your favourite part of this week? Why?

My favorite part of this week was definitely being able to interview someone because i have never interviewed someone about a big topic and had to review it.

2. What was the hardest part of this week? Why?

The hardest part of this week was doing a lot more research and trying to get it finished by the deadline which we did end up doing.

3. In 3-5 sentences, summarize what you did this week.

This week Leah and I worked on our researching and going deeper into those key concept questions. We also worked on getting interviews with people who have been kinda in that topic. Lastly we placed all of our information and interview info in this website and reading it after.

I think I feel best confident with the attributes.

All the key concepts, bc i dont really pay attention to them.

To work with the PYP more than I'm hoping to, I'll be better with the key concepts.
