Third graders are ready to take on the science that seems impossible. They are curious, determined, and willing to tackle challenges that don’t have obvious answers. They are developing the grit to keep asking questions, testing ideas, learning from mistakes, and trying again when things don’t go as planned. This year, third graders will take on the role of scientists as they design and conduct their own experiments, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions from their findings. They will then share their discoveries with their peers at an end-of-year Science Fair, celebrating not only what they learned, but the process of wondering, investigating, and persevering along the way.
