The Greenup County War Memorial is a beautiful memorial to pay tribute to the people that fought and died in wars who lived in Greenup County. There is so much equipment here and it doesn't have back ground information. So, we want to tell about how important they are and what they did in the wars.

There is lots of information on the other pages about the equipment. Thank you for visiting our website. This wall lists the names of every Greenup County veteran killed in action, separated by each war. There is also one name under the fighter jet. Jeremy Gullet was killed in the Middle East and there was nowhere to add on the wall. After discussing with family they agreed to have his name under the aircraft. POW-MIA were either never found or came home after war and lived a productive life. Names were added after they passed away. John Collier and Ernie West are on the left side under Congressional Medal of Honor. These men earned this award due to heroic actions in the Korean war. This is a very rare award and we have 2 from 1 county. Their stories are amazing. The right side of wall has TAPS on it.
