This memorial was designed by Caleb Hammond from Boy Scout troop 165 in Flatwoods, KY for his eagle scout project. Caleb chose this project,"as a way to honor all that have payed the ultimate price for our freedom, and as something that the community would be able to appreciate for so many years to come
