What colleges/universities or career path did the 49 Riverside STEM Academy students from the class of 2020 select to attend?
Document below will show you.
Class of 2020-College or Career Path Selected
There are thousands of colleges to choose from, but which should go on your college list?
Many of you have a clear idea of what colleges/universities you will be applying to or career path you are selecting. Some of you are still deciding and trying to figure out.
The right college depends on you...your academic and career goals!
The truth: The college admission process can be challenging and will take time. You can make your college journey easier by taking everything one step at a time.
Filling out college applications and the FAFSA are just a couple of examples of what you will be completing before you make the final college decision or choose another career path. This is all in addition to what you already do in and outside of school.
The college process is a milestone in your life! The best way to enjoy your year without neglecting the responsibilities that comes with it is to take each moment as it comes. Make time to apply for colleges, fill out the FAFSA, sort through scholarships, check online for other resources, and reach out for help. You must find time for both the fun and the work in order to have the most rewarding senior year—and future.
Try to come up with a schedule and use time management. The point is to focus on just one college-related task at a time. Then find another and keep going.
I have created "The A, B, C's of College Basics" as a starting point of information for students and parents. You will need to check online for more detailed information, attend recommended workshops such as Pathways to Higher Education conference, and ask for help.
College and Career information will also be made available on the RSA HS website under the Guidance Tab for parents and students to reference. I understand the challenges of managing so many emails.
I will be able to assist seniors and families via email, scheduled brief phone conferences from my private phone at home, or longer google meets virtual or phone conferences from a Boston, MA number which is 617-675-4444. Now is the time to begin. A few of you already have begun filling out college applications or requesting a Letter of Recommendation...well done!
"The A, B, C’s of College Basics" and attachments are below and hope you find at least some portions useful for your college/career path journey. The Resource page (A3) has so much information. Just click on one of the links to take you on UC or CSU campus virtual tours.
