Early Childhood

Students 3-years-old and 4-years-old who have qualified for special education services can receive services through any of the following methods.  The service delivery method is determined by the IEP team and the students individual needs. 

• Itinerant Services where the child is during the day (such as in the home, community daycare, preschool classroom, Acelero Learning, RUSD classroom, or Head Start)

• Co-taught 3K & 4K classrooms for children who need daily specially designed instruction 

• Speech and Language phonological classroom

• Early Childhood self-contained classroom (small student/teacher ratio)

• Bilingual 4K co-taught classroom

• Bilingual Speech and Language classroom

• Deaf & Hard of Hearing Early Childhood classroom

• Walk-in services at any RUSD elementary school site
