RUSD Extended Learning currently has four elementary programs funded through the 21st CCLC grant.  As a grantee, we provide academic enrichment and support that is aligned with the school day’s curriculum.  We also provide students with opportunities to engage is a wide variety of programming including recreation, social and emotional learning, arts and other high interest activities for students. We also provide adult family members with opportunities to engage and learn how to support their child’s education.  All 21st Century CLC afterschool sites include busing.

RUSD Community Funded Middle School Programs

Our Extended Learning Middle School Programs are club based. Clubs can run for just a portion of the year and can vary from 1 day a week to 4 days a week. Extended Learning Clubs foster a sense of belonging and community in our students. Clubs are proposed by passionate and enthusiastic RUSD staff and community members in the areas of the performing arts, culinary arts, engineering, gaming and other recreational activities. Through participation, students begin to develop a better sense of self, grow socially and emotionally, and make new friends.
