Most of our high school programs are club based, many of them meet one or two days a week.  Students learn leadership skills, develop healthy habits and grow to become positive contributors to their community.  Clubs are proposed by passionate and enthusiastic RUSD staff and community members who want to make a difference in enhancing our youth’s high school experience. High school theater programs are also a part of Extended Learning.  Students have the opportunity to audition for 2-3 shows a year at any high school they choose in addition to working behind the scenes as part of the crew. These experiences foster a sense of accomplishment, growth in self esteem through positive, healthy self expression.
