Elementary School Programs

Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CLC) 

RUSD Extended Learning currently has four elementary programs funded through the 21st CCLC grant.  As a grantee, we provide academic enrichment and support that is aligned with the school day’s curriculum.  We also provide students with opportunities to engage is a wide variety of programming including recreation, social and emotional learning, arts and other high interest activities for students. We also provide adult family members with opportunities to engage and learn how to support their child’s education.  All 21st Century CLC afterschool sites include busing.

RUSD Community Funded Sites

Each RUSD Extended Learning site is unique and provides programming that meets the needs of the students and the school building as a whole. This programming could include academic enrichment and support as well as recreation clubs, dance, art, gaming and other activities that students are interested in getting involved with.
