Mr. Michell graduated from Holy Family University in 2013 with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. He had the privilege of working with a wide array of grade levels throughout his university experience.

Mr. Michell began working in the Runnemede School District in 2013 as a 2nd grade inclusion teacher at Bingham. After a year, he was transferred to Downing, where he taught 3rd grade students for 5 consecutive years.

Over that time, Mr. Michell has become a Google Certified Educator and been seeking out the latest technological advances to incorporate into his classroom each year, from green screen to utilizing Google tools in everyday classroom assignments.

Starting in 2019, Mr. Michell began his role as Bingham & Downing's STEAM Teacher.

During the 2020-2021 school year, Mr. Michell focused heavily on technology & coding during times of social distancing and assisted the school community with technological issues that arose during that time.

Today, he continues preparing students to be leaders in a technological future, using computer programming, coding with robotics, engineering design projects, video production, and collaborating on custom engineered projects.
