Welcome,
to the official page of the Groninger Experimental Philosophy Lab Group (X-Phi Lab)

The X-Phi lab is a collaborative structure for students and scholars at the University of Groningen. We engage in research projects in the field of Experimental Philosophy.

We welcome students and researchers from all fields and disciplines. If you would like to conduct research taking an experimental philosophy approach, or combining different disciplines or methodologies, or focusing on a wide range of scientific topics, you are at the right place.

The X-Phi lab was founded by Lieuwe Zijlstra and it first hosted students working on a special version of evidence-based research internships called “Young Scientists at UCG”. During these internships, students are able to go through the entire research cycle, and to develop their research projects to sophisticated academic studies.
