Dual Enrollment
Students are have the opportunity to take college-level courses while attending Massabesic High School. Most students have this opportunity during the junior and senior year. Please see the FAQ Dual Enrollment Page for more details. With guidance/ELO recommendation some sophomores are able to take courses online that count for a college credit. Students can take courses on campus or online during the school day in order to earn their credits. Click on this flyer to see the benefits of taking a dual enrollment course!

Not sure what courses you would like to take in dual enrollment? Consider course the following pathways to help make a decision about which courses you should take through dual enrollment!
Please Note: When choosing a dual enrollment course please look at the perquisites for these courses. There are many courses that require introductory courses that need to be completed a passed before being placed in the course. Students also may have to take the Accuplacer test to increase their PSAT/SAT Math and Reading/Writing scores. This test can be administered through the guidance office by appointment. Student scores need to be:
YCCC:
Math 127: 480+
Math 122: 450+
Math 102: 450+
Math 065: 240-479
Math 050: Less than 450
English 101: 480+
English 095: 400-470
You can book an appointment to take the Accuplacer through the guidance office!
