Geometric Shadow

Orginal

Edited

For this project I used three colors of paint. Red, Blue and Yellow that I borrowed from Mrs.Medsker's Room. I used my second youngest sister as a model. I had to put my concentration into geometric shadows and I thought.. well shadows can't have color so I decided to paint her face as my color selection which took the longest time because I kept smearing and mixing all the colors and all the paint got everywhere and I had to do some laundry after I was done with the project, but anyways I created the shadow by using a laundry basket that I found in my room and my lamp. I was originally going to use the top of my cage to make a shadow but as I was trying to get a shadow it didn't work. After I finally got all the painting done and figured out what I was going to use as my shadow I had to move the basket and the lamp sometimes closer or further until I was satisfied with the results with the shadow. It was quite difficult to try to get the shadow in the picture because sometimes it got blurry but I managed. After when I got a picture I was satisfied with and I sent it to my laptop and put it in photoshop and made the photo black and white and then selected the paint I painted on my sisters face and made the color pop. Overall I am very very happy on how the results came out.
