Artist Statement

I had a really fun time editing these pictures, I decided to pick color selection as my concentration because last year when I was taking photo 1 Mr. A told us to do a color selection project and I just fell in love with how it made the picture look and how it made specific things stand out from the rest of the picture. At first my concentration was just color selection so I took pictures of things that would've been interesting to do color selection on, but then Ms. Medsker wanted something more personal so I decided to use my sisters as my model and I really liked how the pictures turned out, so my concentration is portraits . Some of the pictures I really really liked how it turned out are the Hands, Geometric Shapes and Reflection. I had lots of fun making pictures for those projects but there were some struggles with some of the rest of the topics but overall I really enjoyed it.
