Clever is the app that allows students to login once and access many of the other apps they use frequently. K-1 students will use a QR code card that they hold in front of the pad camera. Older students will use their district username and password. Clever only opens apps that are also installed in the iPad.
Class Dojo is the way our school communicates with students and parents, the way we share school and classroom pictures and news, and the way our allied arts teachers and some specialists deliver remote or hybrid instruction. Class Dojo is a stand alone app not accessed through Clever.
Lexia supports the teaching of reading by differentiating for each student and building in existing skills. Your child accesses Lexia Core 5 through their Clever app.

Seesaw is an online instructional tool used by many of our K-4 teachers to deliver and collect digital content. It has many more features for kids than Class Dojo, and it is more suited to be used for the regular classroom environment. This app is accessed through Clever
Like Seesaw, Google Classroom provides an online version of the classroom. Our 5th grade teachers and some of our specialists will use this tool. Students use their district usernames and passwords to log in. This app is not accessed through Clever.
In grade 5 (and in some classes even earlier), students learn to create content using Docs, Slides, Sheets, and to store and share documents using Drive. These are the Tools students will use for the rest of their school career and in college and at work.

This is a website rather than an app, but students in grades 2-5 have a link to on desktop. I use it to teach the fundamentals of computer programming using a drag and drop language called Blockly. Students learn the correct vocabulary, the ides of sequencing, repeating or recursive processes, and they solve problems and create projects while they are at it. I have created classes and follow a curriculum, but feel free to use the website at home! Students are given an account.
