The Constitution of the National Honor Society states:

The purpose of this organization shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of secondary schools.

Junior and senior students, who meet the initial prerequisite of a 3.5 or higher GPA, are invited to join National Honor Society each August. Society members are students who have distinguished themselves in the areas of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. The Society participates in numerous service activities.​

The NHS is under the sponsorship and supervision of the National Association of Secondary Principals (NASSP), 1904 Association Drive, Reston, VA 20191-1537.

08/14 - Having trouble completing your application for NHS? Come to room 220 at 7:45 am OR 3:25 pm on August 20th for an informational help session!

08/01 - Applications are now available online, or in room 220 and 217! All applications are due by August 24th at 3:30pm!

04/30 - Come join us for an information meeting for interested juniors and seniors. You must have a weighted GPA of 3.5 to apply. Meeting will be held at 3:15 pm in the theater.

04/23 - Congratulations to Michelle Li and Jerry Zhang for winning a National NHS Scholarship! Jerry was a semi-finalist and Michelle is a national finalist. Amazing work!
