Mrs. Katie Bauman
My name is Mrs. Bauman and I am currently in 5th year of teaching at Marquette (12th year overall) This is my 5th year as adviser to the Marquette Chapter of the National Honor Society. I greatly enjoy working with such dedicated and talented students each year and continue to be amazed by their intelligence and self-less acts. I currently teach World History and Sociology , and assist with the Model United Nations. All of which keeps very busy in addition to my three daughters.

Mrs. Erin Sullenger
My name is Mrs. Sullenger and I am currently teaching AP Government and regular Psychology. This school years starts my 15th year at Marquette. Besides co-sponsoring NHS this year, I am also on the Renaissance committee. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I like to read, shop, travel and watch Cardinal games. Each month I volunteer at my church to help serve dinner to those in need. I am very excited to begin my 2nd year with NHS and assist the club in growing through our academics, leadership, service and character. Emma Leary is a senior and the president of service for NHS at Marquette. Her favorite things to do are travel and read. She is passionate about community service and her favorite volunteering opportunity is the Butterfly Dreams Pageant. She is also the current secretary of media for Key Club and a senator for Student Council. Emma is always looking for new events that will engage students to strive to help the greater good. Working with her fellow officers, Emma looks forward to connecting with her community and enhancing the spirit of her school through her position in NHS.

My name is Smridh Chandra and I am the Vice President of Membership for NHS. My favorite core subjects in school are math and science. I enjoy volunteering especially at hospitals. I am also one of the Co-Presidents of Mu Alpha Theta club and I also enjoy competing in clubs such as Model Un and HOSA. I hope to make the NHS a memorable experience for every member while also being able to help out the community!!

Yijin Huang, senior, the Finance Officer for the Marquette chapter of National Honor Society. His favorite subjects in school are math and science. At Marquette, Yijin is also the Co-President of Mu Alpha Theta and the Community Outreach Chair for Key Club. In the future, he looks to pursue a career in the medical field. Yijin hopes to work with the rest of the executive board to improve fundraising opportunities and create a great year for NHS.
Public Relations Secretary
Neha Checka is the current public relations secretary of NHS. Neha enjoys singing, playing violin and piano, and volunteering within her community. Her favorite place to volunteer is at Aim High over the summer. At Marquette, she also participates in Track and Field, HOSA, Marquette advocacy groups, Marquette TED-ED, NHS, and Girl Scouts. Neha plans to volunteer for the Peace Corps after high school. In the future, Neha is considering going into the medical field because she realized that her childhood dream of becoming a rockstar was a little too preposterous. Neha Checka is excited to work with the rest of the officers to create a great year of NHS for all its members.

Hello, my name is Neha Bollam. I am the current Secretary of Hours of NHS. At Marquette, I also am a member of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) and the Track & Field Team. Outside of Marquette, I participate in Indian classical dance, Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, and play the piano. My favorite subjects are math and science. My favorite volunteering opportunity is aiding in our annual dance fundraiser for various health organizations. I look forward to becoming the Secretary of Hours of our chapter and beyond excited to begin the new school year.
