Keys to good practice:
- Practice every day - It is much better to practice for 15 minutes every day than 2 hours one day
- Find a quiet practice spot - An ideal set up would include a music stand and a mirror to help view technique
- Practice slowly - Go note by note or measure by measure. Don't just play through the whole piece.
- Practice carefully - Make sure you aren't practicing the wrong habits. Practice doesn't automatically make perfect.
- Follow the practice plan - Ms. Mueller wrote it out for a reason!
And as always, if you have a question on how to practice, ask Ms. Mueller! Happy practicing.
