Modern US History

Course Description: This class deals with the major political, social, economic and technological developments in U.S. History since World War II. The goals of this course are to help students become citizens who are aware of the contributions, decisions and sacrifices of past individuals and groups to make our country what it is today. In this course, students will: read primary and secondary sources, work individually and in groups, write essays, take organized notes, and contribute to class discussions.
