How to register to become part of of Storm Family:

1. First, you must register your student online at the following link:                                           New Student Registration Link 

   • Online Registration for New Students for the 2024-2025 School Year will not be open until February 27, 2024.  Please make sure to choose the correct school year when registering your student.

2. Once you have completed the online registration, you will need to make an appointment to complete your student's registration.  New students for the 2024-2025 School Year will receive an email with an appointment link once it is available.  Please wait for that email to schedule an appointment.  At the appointment you will need to bring in all paperwork that was not uploaded during the time of the online registration.  These documents will include: 

• An up-to-date immunization record or a copy of your notarized exemption request that has been submitted to/approved by the state. Satisfactory evidence that the student has begun the process of obtaining the immunizations required by law will be accepted when approved by the School Nurse.

• Acceptable Documentation for Residency

1.  Current gas, electric, or  City Rio Rancho Water  bill OR

2.  Current lease or rental agreement (within last three months) OR

3.  Current mortgage statement OR

4.   If you are living with someone else: Resident will provide an above approved utility bill AND need to sign an  Address Verification Form , a notarized statement that child and their legal guardian is living with the resident in the Cleveland High School District.

5. If you are not living in the 87144 boundaries, you will need to fill out an "Out of District" Application using this link: 24-25 School Year Out of District Application  Once the application has been approved, an appointment can be made.

•  Documents suitable as proof of the child’s identity, age, and guardianship. (Birth Certificate, hospital record, adoption papers, custody papers, etc),  and court documents pertaining to guardianship, if applicable

•  Recent Transcripts and Withdrawal grades from previous school

•  Documentation of Special Education(if applicable) IEP or 504
