How to register to become part of of Storm Family:

1. First, you must register your student online at the following link:                                           New Student Registration Link 

   • Online Registration for New Students for the 2026-2027 School Year is now open..  Please make sure to choose the correct school year when registering your student.

2. Once you have completed the online registration, you will receive an email from the Registrar if more information is needed or if you are ready to complete the course request for the upcoming year.  New students for the 2026-2027 School Year will receive an email with more information.   The following documents will be need to be submitted: 

1.  Recent Transcripts and Withdrawal grades from previous school (you will want to obtain these after the school year end.  However,  a current unofficial transcript will be accepted at the time of registration)

2. An up-to-date immunization record or a copy of your notarized exemption request that has been submitted to/approved by the state. Satisfactory evidence that the student has begun the process of obtaining the immunizations required by law will be accepted when approved by the School Nurse.

3. Acceptable Documentation for Residency

   •  Current gas, electric, or  City Rio Rancho Water  bill OR

   •  Current complete lease or rental agreement (within last three months) OR

   •  Current mortgage statement OR

   •   If you are living with someone else: Resident will provide an above approved utility bill AND need to sign an  Address Verification Form , a notarized statement that child and their legal guardian is living with the resident in the Cleveland High School District.

   • If you are not living in the 87144 boundaries, you will need to fill out an "Out of District" Application using this link: 26-27 School Year Out of District Application  Once the application has been approved, an appointment can be made.

4.  Documents suitable as proof of the child’s identity, age, and guardianship. (Birth Certificate, hospital record, adoption papers, custody papers, etc),  and court documents pertaining to guardianship, if applicable

5.  Documentation of Special Education(if applicable) IEP or 504 

6.  Copy of the parent/legal guardian's photo ID that is registering the student.
