Classroom Expectations

Our classroom rules are positively stated, hands on, and to the point.  

• We Use Looking Eyes (look at the speaker)

• We Use Listening Ears (listening is hearing something and then thinking about it)

• We use our nose to take slow deep breaths 

• We Use our loud and proud voices when it is our turn to talk

• We Use gentle hands (hands are for helping not hurting)

• We use our walking feet (feet are not for hurting)

• We use our thinking cap (we are in charge of  what we do and say. No one else can make our choices for us so we need to stop and think and make safe choices.

• Fair is different than equal- We are all eaqually important, and everyone gets exactly what they need to learn at school no more no less, that is fair.

Don't worry, your child will have many opportunities to learn and practice following these rules everyday in a safe and nurturing environment with their friends.
