Preschool (Ages 3-5): If you are concerned that your preschool child is developing or learning differently, you can call the Ridgefield Public Schools, Office of Special Services at 201-807-2649.
School-Age Students (Ages 5-21): If you are concerned that your school-age child is developing or learning differently, you should speak with your child's guidance counselor or principal who may refer the matter to the Intervention and Referral Services Committee at your child's school. You also have the right to request a Child Study Team evaluation for consideration of Special Education and Related Services.
