This year I will be teaching World History as well. The class will cover from the Neolithic Period to current day events. As a homework grade, students will be required to bring in a weekly article about the time period and region being discussed in class. My goal is to make history engaging while establishing a learning community within the classroom that fosters open discussions and mutual respect among my students.
