The class is structured to accommodate more speaking, listening, and reading comprehension. The purpose is to provide more applicable Spanish, versus just memorized grammar rules and vocabulary lists.

Dear Parents & Students,

My goal for this year is to not only teach my students basic Spanish vocabulary and grammar, but also an appreciation for the culture. Along with teaching the Spanish curriculum, I also hope to teach my students the importance of respect (for oneself and others), accountability, and active participation. We will also be learning flexibility and the importance of effective communication in our class. I believe that it will be a wonderful year, and I am looking forward to working with my students! Please feel free to contact me at the school if you have any concerns.

Sincerely,

Señora Diaz

Please remember the importance of attendance and participation. Without being present and attempting to speak, your student will struggle to retain the language and literacy skills.
