Baptism is not some optional ritual, to be delayed or postponed. It signifies your inclusion in God’s family. It publicly announces to the world, “I am not ashamed to be a part of God’s family.” Jesus commanded this beautiful act for all in his family:
Why is baptism so important? Because it symbolizes one of the purposes of your life: incorporation into the fellowship of God’s eternal family.
Baptism declares your faith, shares Christ’s burial and resurrection, symbolizes your death to your old life, and announces your new life in Christ. It is also a celebration of your inclusion in God’s family.
Your baptism is a physical picture of a spiritual truth. It represents what happened the moment God brought you into his family. Baptism doesn’t make you a member of God’s family; only faith in Christ does that. Baptism shows you are part of God’s family. Like a wedding ring, it is a visible reminder of an inward commitment made in your heart. It is an act of initiation, not something you put off until you are spiritually mature. The only biblical condition is that you believe. Because Jesus makes you holy, God is proud of you. Being included in God’s family is the highest honor, the greatest privilege you and I will ever receive. Nothing else comes close.

A Study of the Life of Simon Peter
With a chisel, a plan, and a lot of patience, the Master Artist transforms a chunk of rock into a masterpiece. Yet this particular work of art is not on display in the finest museum but in the pages of God’s Word. There we see God take the brash and impulsive Simon Peter and turn him into the man, the leader, God always intended him to be. We can learn a lot from Peter’s life as we look at how he was:
Called to Follow
Willing to Risk
Challenged to Grow
Motivated to Serve
Allowed to Fail
Restored to Lead
In God’s hands, anyone can become a masterpiece. His work in Peter’s life shows how He can work in our lives, too, to lovingly shape and sculpt us into the likeness of His Son, living masterpieces that will forever reflect the beauty and glory of the Artist Himself.

A Study of the Life of Mary, the Mother of Jesus
You have a mission in life, whether you fully understand what it is right now or not. God partners with human beings to accomplish His purposes. He chooses, He calls, and He leads. So what do you do when He has chosen you?
Mary, the mother of Jesus, is a great example of how to respond when God calls your name. She offers life-changing lessons for any believer. And she may be the toughest person you’ve ever encountered.
This journey through the life of Mary explores four common experiences of those who follow God:
When God Changes Everything
When You Feel All Alone
When Life Breaks Your Heart
When Life Must Go On
God chose Mary for a reason, and she experienced both the promise and pain of His purposes. He has chosen you too, and you will need to know how to navigate the path He has given you. Chosen will help you grow in your understanding of what it means to be blessed, strengthened, and guided every step of the way.
