More than anything, Jesus’ desire was for the church to be one because their uncommon unity would be a powerful witness to God’s love.

River of Praise Christian Fellowship is an evidence of God’s faithfulness. When God works on something He will surely provide people and will raise leaders to fulfill the greatest commission and that is to go and make disciples. The church is in partnership with RPS with the desire to reach out teachers, parents, learners and outside community.

2016, The Lord blessed our first mission partner pastored by Ptr. Joel Gequilapay with a new church venue reaching out in the areas of Talisay and Minglanilla.

June 12, 2016, the Lord provided a leader whom He knew who has a heart of service, Pastor Jireh Tan willfully committed himself to become the church Pastor alongside with our church workers. Having the vision to see a movement of Christ-committed and submissive disciples intentionally growing and making disciples for the glory of God, with the mission of reproducing Christ-committed and submissive disciples. The establishment of the church wasn’t easy, as we are still in our humble beginnings. God used the school to become the place of worship on Sundays and a place of learning on weekdays. Despite of having no official physical church building, God is still faithful in providing people, the Cudera Family, who’s always available for the church.

2020, a year of breaking and breakthrough, as we face an unseen

enemy, this was the time when the church was transferred, the time when the once filled church became an isolated church area containing limited people, the hugs after service became a wave on facebook and church fellowship and meetings became virtual gatherings, far different from what we used to do as believers, but we stood against all these odds, through His grace the church continued to move forward by faith. It might be one of the challenging years that we encountered, but it couldn’t stop God to do more, 2022 and still moving forward, growing in faith and numbers.

The Church is more than just a building, We are the church, we are His called-out. Whenever there is a Christian, there is a church. You are the church.

“from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” Ephesians 4:16
