ART CLUB

To participate in the Roxbury Art Club, you need to have creativity, a large imagination, & a great passion for the arts.

Previously having, or being enrolled in an art class is not a requirement, but is preferred.

Description:

Art Club membership is open all year allowing for students to participate in other extra curricular activities and attend Art Club when they can. Students are encouraged to work on projects that they started in their art classes or can work on new projects that are not part of a class. During the school year the members can paint murals, make decorations, participate in community art projects and participate in the “Break into Art Show” in the spring.

Meetings

The Art Club meets every other Wednesday in room E142.

Meetings are varied between workshops, learning new techniques, drawing activities, and open studio time.

Our goal is to foster a love of art and art making and to provide a safe and inviting environment for students to enjoy.
