Courses are designed for the students to explore art through the theory and practice of art production, art criticism, aesthetics, and art history. Through this, students work toward becoming critical thinkers and effective communicators. The skills developed in visual arts classes inherently become applied in all aspects of life.

Students are taught to understand what the creative process is and learn how to refine their own approach. The focus of all projects is to create artwork that is technically sound and conceptually interesting. The time and dedication put forth by both students and teachers is geared toward the result of creating the highest quality artwork.
