On-Campus Experiences
Campus Employment
For both on and off-campus employment, consider looking at what is available on PROFS JOBS. Below we have highlighted some other campus employment that you may find meaningful.
Residence life has several employment opportunities throughout the year including the summer. Depending on the time of year you will find positions for resident assistants, project crews, operations assistants, and office assistants. We encourage you to consider positions that will demonstrate responsibility, leadership, and your ability to work with others.
Tutoring is an excellent way to support and mentor your peers while also practicing the foundational material you will need for admission exams and professional school!
Many Pre-Health students find a passion for physical activity and recreation. If this is a passion of yours, consider exploring jobs at the Student Recreation Center including but not limited to fitness instruction, personal training, lifeguarding, or officiating intramural sports!
If you received work study, there are great employment opportunities offered all year long!
Student Organizations
Rowan has so many student organizations so we encourage you to explore Campus Labs, organization tables, and events to find a few organizations that speak to your interests. Below we have highlighted those directly linked to the Health Professions but remember - don't limit yourself to one of these! If you are passionate about a topic you are more likely to develop projects with that organization and naturally evolve into a leader!

Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS)

Service Opportunities
Below are on-campus service groups to explore. Student organizations often develop and engage members in service opportunities and remember to keep an eye on the Rowan Daily Mail which often has a volunteer section with opportunities as well as our Pre-Health newsletters and calendar for future service opportunities.
