Learn About Optometry
Optometrists are the main providers of vision care. They're responsible for performing eye exam, prescribing contact lenses and glasses to correct issues like nearsightedness and farsightedness, and diagnose/treat many diseases ranging anywhere from pink eye (conjunctivitis) to glaucoma and diabetes. This profession is attractive for those who want to maintain a work life balance without the stress of being on call.
