It's hard to believe this is my 19th year here at Voigt Elementary. Through the years I've taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, and intervention here. So, I can say from experience that 5th grade is THE best! I'm looking forward to another exciting, fast paced year of learning with an amazing group of students and a wonderful team of teachers. After all this time, Voigt is still "The Place to Be." I may just never leave!

Mrs. Misage's Graduation from WGU with a Master's in Math Education. I grew up in Corpus Christi, Tx and earned my Bachelor's Degree from Duke University in North Carolina. I am currently beginning my 18th year in education and consider it an honor to be part of your child's life.

Dear Parents and Students,

First of all, hello!! Welcome back to school and your 5th Grade year, so awesome!! I can't tell you just how happy I am to be your teacher. I'm sorry that I'm not able to be there on the first day of school, but I'll be back soon and look forward to making new relationships with each of you. I truly believe that it takes "a village" to raise a child, so, I say to you all, welcome to "the village". I consider it a privilege to be your teacher. Here's to a fantastic school year!!

This is my 16th year at Voigt. I am married with three grown children. I love reading, nature, and Voigt! It truly is the place to be. I love teaching all subjects to these amazing kids, and 5th grade is my favorite grade to teach. Voigt has had great success with being an Arts Integration Academy and that program will continue. I am looking forward to a great year and glad that we will be in person!
