RRISD Vision: Inspiring students to learn, empowering students for life. 

Voigt Counseling Program Vision: The children of Voigt Elementary will learn the skills that they need to become the capable and confident adults who are able to calmly handle challenges and to be prepared to creatively and collaboratively engage in making positive changes in our world. 

Voigt Elementary Mission: Voigt Elementary empowers our diverse community of students to use critical thinking skills as problem solvers and leaders. We strive to develop a passion for 21st Century learning and provide the necessary skills to positively impact our society.

Voigt Counseling Program Mission:  Supporting all students and honoring diversity of culture, language, and ability, the data-driven school counseling program of Voigt Elementary will provide a safe space for students to learn about the skills needed for academic, career, and social-emotional growth. Through collaboration between counselors, teachers, and families, students will receive the group instruction and individualized support needed to develop the five social-emotional competencies: self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.
