Mrs. Orona

My name is Mrs. Orona and I am very excited to begin a new year of learning with you! This year will be my 13^th year of teaching and 12^th year here at Union Hill. Prior to teaching 4^thgrade, I taught 1^st grade in San Antonio and here at Union Hill. I feel very fortunate to be part of such a great school and can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us as a learning community!

I am originally from Carlsbad, New Mexico and went to college in Norfolk, Virginia where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University. After graduating from college, I decided to move to the great state of Texas and have never looked back! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, James and our five year old son, Dylan and 6 month old daughter, Hayley. We love exploring our great city, watching movies, or just laughing at Dylan’s and Hayley’s silly antics.

I know we are going to have a great year together and I look forward to getting to know and work with all of you!
