Howdy! My name is Sam Donohoe and I am beyond excited to join the 3rd Grade team at Elsa England! I was born and raised in Austin and I am a 7th generation Texan. My dad's side of the family actually fought in the Texas Revolution.
This is my second year teaching, as I previously taught 4th Grade in Leander ISD. As teaching is my second career, I am currently working on my teaching certification. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design where I worked in furniture and space planning. After working in corporate America for 10 or so years, I realized that teaching is where my heart belonged.
My spouse and I have been married for 6 years and we have a sweet senior chihuahua, Josie. We enjoy traveling, spending time with our families, all types of sporting events, and I enjoy junking and antiquing. You will also see that I have a love for pineapples and the Green Bay Packers!

Hi there! My name is Michele Lilleboe. I come to you as a parent with my own kids who graduated from Round Rock ISD. Hayden graduated from McNeil High School in 2022 and Lucas graduated last spring in 2024. Both boys are attending Texas Tech University and majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
I was born and raised in Corvallis, Oregon, and attended Oregon State University. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture Science and my Master’s Degree in Professional Education. I taught Horticulture Science, Speech and Floral Design, and served as an FFA advisor for 6 ½ years in WA.
My husband Jason and I moved to Austin in 2005. In 2014, I became a part of our Elsa England third grade team! So, this is my 11th year in third grade! Whoo Hoo!

Welcome to third grade! My name is Erin McKenzie and I am very excited to be your child's third grade teacher. I am originally from California, where I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in liberal studies and a concentration in Human Behavior. I completed my student teaching in both kindergarten and third grade and then I went on to teach third grade for several years in California.

Hello! I am so excited to be joining the 3rd grade team, and to be here at England! I am originally from Austin. I went to the University of North Texas, and started my teaching journey in Denton ISD, where I taught 4th grade. I am happy to call Austin home again!
Teaching has always been a passion of mine. My favorite part of being a teacher is building lasting connections. I love having a classroom where we learn and grow from each other! I am so excited to continue learning this year, and to be a part of the leopard community!
In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, reading, traveling, drinking coffee, and spending time with my friends and family.
I am looking forward to an incredible year at Elsa England! If you would like to donate to our classroom, I included my wishlist.

Welcome to 3rd grade! I am excited to begin a new year! I have been a 3rd grade teacher at Elsa England since we first opened our doors. Prior to that I taught kinder, first, and third grade in Virginia after graduating from James Madison University. This is my 15th year teaching 3rd grade in RRISD. I am amazed that each year is just as exciting and rewarding as the last.
I am originally from Texas, but lived in Virginia for many years. My husband and I moved to Austin in 2001. We have three children: Carter, Trent, and Kelly. Trent graduated from Texas State University in May, Kelly is a junior at St. Mary's University where she also plays volleyball, and Carter is working and taking computer classes.
In my spare time I enjoy watching Netflix, walking, hiking, reading, playing games, and observing nature. I love animals, especially dogs, and spend lots of time playing & walking with our dog Shadow.
Teaching has always been my passion. I love engaging the minds of our youth and fostering a love of learning. My mission is to ignite a passion for reading and writing, empower learners to solve problems and think critically, and foster innovation, creativitivity, and discovery.
I am looking forward to beginning an adventurous journey with a new group of Leopards and partnering with families to make this a remarkable year!
If your child is in my class, I will send updates via email on a regular basis. The best way to reach me is via email at Deborah_Swyers@roundrockisd.org.
Hi and Welcome! I am so excited to start another year teaching in RRISD. This will be my seventh year teaching and my 6th year in 3rd grade and at England! I graduated from TXST with my bachelor's degree in 2019 and graduated from there again with my Masters in 2020. Eat 'em up!
I am from Houston, TX (Go Stros!) originally but have loved living in Round Rock these past few years. Since moving here I have added Ekko, my rescue pup, and Kota, his little brother, to the family and they are so special! Along with being at the dog park and setting up doggy playdates, in my free time I love to read, be outdoors, and spend time with my friends. I'm still exploring Austin and love to explore the country as well, with visiting national parks being my #1 bucket list item.
I love being a teacher and can't wait for yet another group of kids to steal my heart! Each year is an opportunity for me to learn and grow in my teaching and I feel as though I learn just as much from each student as they learn from me. I can't wait to get started!
In my class, you can see updates each Friday afternoon with weekly emails, where I will also have our 3rd grade newsletter linked. You can also see what's needed for our classroom with my Amazon List:
