· Shower Strike is a fundraiser where participants raise money to build wells and water systems in East Africa by pledging not to shower for an entire week
· Kicks off on April 22nd (Earth Day)
· Shower strikers have raised over $1,245,000 to build sustainable wells and water systems in East Africa, providing water to more than 125,500 people.

· The industry standard, including non-profits, for successful, sustainable wells is only 40%. This means many communities develop wells, only to be left dry or unsafe soon after. Well Aware, however, has had a 100% success rate by using the latest innovative and sustainable technologies and by working closely with communities.
