WELCOME TO COLLEGE
The ACC Dual Credit enrollment process is your first step to earning college credit for FREE!
Students who are ready for college classes exhibit the following characteristics:
Self-motivated to complete and submit assignments before the due date
Able to read all instructions thoroughly then formulate questions
Willing to participate in class discussions
Takes initiative to reach out to professors and seek tutorial support
Completes the enrollment and registration process in a timely manner without reminders
STUDENTS: It is important that you take the driver's seat with the ACC process. Please read and follow all the instructions. You must complete every step before you can meet with your counselor.
Please note: Enrollment is the process by which you become an official Dual Credit student. You must still register for your classes every semester.

August 21 First Day of Classes
November 16 Last Day to Drop with a "W"
December 10 Last Day of Classes
SPRING 2024
January 16 First Day of Classes
April 22 Last Day to Drop with a "W"

**Deadlines listed in YELLOW are set by RRISD and are strictly enforced.**
For Summer 2024

For Fall 2024
**April 1, 2024 - Application Steps and Checklist DUE to your Counselor **
May - Register for ACC Fall Classes Online:
Pending date - Returning Students
Pending date - New Students
SPHS scheduling and ACC registration are separate – you must complete the entire enrollment process and then register for your class(es) through your online MyACC Student Portal account.
Registration through the MyACC portal is the student’s responsibility.
*Enrollment in the Stony Point ACC Cohort classes is limited and will be on a first come first serve basis based on completion of ACC registration.
There may be conflicts in your schedule next year that will not allow you to take ACC and your requested Stony Point classes therefore you may be required to make a choice between programs.
Frequent conflicts include: Athletics, Practicum courses, singleton classes.
