Our fifth graders will learn to play the recorders in music class. This will give the students an opportunity to learn to play a wind instrument. Each student will be provided with a soprano recorder to take home for use during this school year, or they can bring their own personal recorder to school if they wish. Students should keep their recorders in their backpacks every day so they will have them in case of a change where we have music class on a different day from the normal schedule. Students are encouraged to practice at home, but please remember to bring the recorder back to school for use in class.
