Special Olympics gives families the chance to be a part of sports training and competition, enabling social interaction and fun. The focus is on what the athlete can do; the focus is on being able to share in the joy with others; the focus is to allow the athlete to train and compete on an even playing field, sharing in the joy and excitement of competition.
